| This spot is in the famous place in Vancouver, it is west to UBC campaus, Wrech beach, it is famous not for the fishing, it is due to the beach is full of people without close in summer. So, you have to share the place with the tourisms. The better weather is raining than sunny for fisher man. You can go down along the stack, then move foward to the North side of the beach, there is always some fisherman there, some time, I can meet same old man there every time. So, I am just wondering he must go there more often than we do! Anyway, it won't suprise if you caught 20 pound little smelt in 3 or 4 hours. Remember, be there in the tide peak time, and you need a water proof wader to protect yourself. |

| Chilliwak vedder river for steelhead fishing! |
| Lickman is popular for not only steelhead fishing, but also for all different kind of salmon. Exit 119 from Highway No.1, head south to along lickman, until you reach the packing lot, you will see the river and fisherman all around. In peak time, it could be crowed like a zoo! Of course, the reward is worthing. You can fish along the north shore or wading across the river, there are many very good fishing spots, you need to find one by yourself! Try it, you won't be disappointed! |
